About Simple Solution
Simple Solution says its mission is to "make cleanup easier, so you can enjoy more time with your pets." Its site groups the range into six areas: urine stains and odors, tough stains, diapers, wraps, training aids and pads, with a product selector quiz to help owners choose the right cleaner.
In the cat stain and odor range, the Extreme Cat remover is built around a patented 3-in-1 nozzle sprayer with foam, mist and stream settings, and the brand's own directions give each setting a job: mist for stains, stream for odors. It is made for carpets, upholstery, bedding, fabric and other water-safe surfaces, and it is the Simple Solution product that appears on our cat urine enzyme cleaner guide.

Why we recognized Simple Solution
The House of Mittens Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose products consistently stand out in our vet-reviewed category guides. Simple Solution earned it on the strength of the products below, evaluated the same way every product on this site is: assessed against feline-health criteria, used with real cats, and judged on merit.
Simple Solution products we rated highly
Simple Solution Extreme Cat Stain Remover, Cat Spray Odor Eliminator, 32oz
A 32 ounce spray with the brand's patented 3-in-1 nozzle, which switches between mist, foam and stream. Our guide features it for spray control: a stream soaks a deep spot while a mist treats a wider area, and Simple Solution's own directions use the settings the same way, with mist for stains and stream for odors. It is intended for carpets, upholstery, bedding, fabric and other water-safe surfaces.
