About Alpha Tech Pet
Alpha Tech Pet (ATP) was founded in 1989 by veterinarian Dr. Shawn E. Seitz, who earned his DVM from Michigan State University in 1984. The company says it has combined veterinary and animal-care experience with science to develop solutions for the animals its customers care for and the environments where those animals live, guided by the company motto Only the Best for Our Pets.
ATP organizes its line into four areas, Sanitize, Clean, Care and Air, and serves veterinary facilities, kennels, pet resorts, groomers and pet owners through professional distribution and direct access. Its Clean lineup includes the LaundraPet family of pet laundry detergents alongside ODORPET stain and odor removers and other cleaning products built for animal-care settings.

Why we recognized Alpha Tech Pet
The House of Mittens Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose products consistently stand out in our vet-reviewed category guides. Alpha Tech Pet earned it on the strength of the products below, evaluated the same way every product on this site is: assessed against feline-health criteria, used with real cats, and judged on merit.
