About pidan
pidan is a Shanghai-based pet-design studio founded in 2015 by Wenfei Ma, a former theater actor who set out to build a cat litter box he couldn't find on the market. That first product, the spherical Igloo Cat Litter Box, launched the same year and now anchors a broader line of cat furniture, litter boxes, scratchers, bedding, and grooming gear sold in 21 countries through thousands of retail partnerships. In 2018 pidan introduced its tofu-based litter line, blending pea and soy fiber into a low-dust, clumping formula -- the category the brand has become best known for.
