About Delectables
Delectables is a Hartz brand, part of a pet-care business now majority-owned by Unicharm Corporation with Sumitomo Corporation holding a minority stake. The line's Squeeze Up tubes were built around a single idea: a rich, lickable purée in a handheld tube that a cat can take straight from the packaging, with no bowl and no chewing required. Delectables treats are made in Thailand, a major source of the tuna that anchors many of the brand's recipes, and the range now spans five textures (stew, bisque, chowder, soft paté, and savory broth) across kitten, adult, and senior formulas.
The Squeeze Up format is grain-free with no added fillers, by-products, or preservatives, and the senior line adds extra vitamins aimed at cats ten to fifteen years and older. In our own testing, the format's biggest strength shows up with exactly the cats other treats struggle to reach: seniors with a fading sense of smell and confirmed picky eaters, who take a warm, strongly-scented purée far more readily than a dry or crunchy treat.
